Steps to Accreditation

Receipt of Application

Client

The applicant Conformity Assessment Body (CAB) submits the accreditation application with required documents.

Scrutiny of Application

iQASB staff perform initial scrutiny to ensure application completeness and scope clarity.

Appointment of Assessor Team

iQASB appoints a qualified assessment team tailored to the specific scope of the applicant.

Assessment of CAB's Management System

On-site and/or remote assessment of the CAB's management system and competence by the assessment team.

Preparation of Assessment Report

The assessment team compiles a detailed report including findings and any identified non-conformities.

Review of Corrective Actions

CAB submits corrective actions for any non-conformities. iQASB reviews and accepts the corrective actions.

Technical Committee Review

The independent Technical Committee reviews the assessment report and corrective actions to make an accreditation decision.

Issue of Accreditation Certificate

Upon favorable decision, iQASB issues the formal Accreditation Certificate and Scope of Accreditation.

Publish on Website

The CAB's accreditation status is published on the official iQASB global directory.

Continuous

Regular surveillance program is maintained continuously to ensure standards are consistently met.
