Terms & Conditions
Please read these terms and conditions carefully before applying for or using our accreditation services.
Terms and Conditions of Accreditation
By applying for or maintaining accreditation with the Independent Quality Accreditation Services Body (iQASB), the Conformity Assessment Body (CAB) explicitly agrees to comply with the following terms, conditions, and operational regulations.
1 General Obligations
The accredited body must continuously comply with the relevant ISO/IEC standards (e.g., ISO/IEC 17021, ISO/IEC 17025) and all applicable iQASB criteria, policies, and procedures. The CAB is required to cooperate fully with iQASB assessors during initial, surveillance, and reassessment audits, providing access to all necessary documents, personnel, and facilities.
2 Use of Accreditation Symbol
The CAB shall only use the iQASB accreditation mark and claim accreditation status in strict accordance with the guidelines provided by iQASB. The accreditation symbol must not be used in any manner that brings iQASB into disrepute or implies that iQASB approves a product, service, or system certified by the CAB. Upon suspension or withdrawal of accreditation, the CAB must immediately cease all use of the accreditation mark and related claims.
3 Fees and Payments
The CAB agrees to pay all required fees associated with the accreditation process, including application fees, assessment fees, travel expenses for assessors, and annual accreditation maintenance fees, as stipulated in the official iQASB Fee Schedule. Failure to settle invoices within the agreed timeframe may result in the suspension or withdrawal of accreditation.
4 Confidentiality
Both iQASB and the CAB agree to maintain strict confidentiality regarding all proprietary and sensitive information obtained during the accreditation process. iQASB will not disclose any confidential information to third parties without the prior written consent of the CAB, except as required by law or by international mutual recognition arrangements.
5 Suspension, Withdrawal, and Appeals
iQASB reserves the right to suspend, withdraw, or reduce the scope of accreditation if the CAB fails to comply with these terms, the relevant accreditation standards, or fails to resolve non-conformities within the specified timeframe. The CAB has the right to appeal any adverse decision made by iQASB in accordance with the documented Appeals and Complaints Procedure available on the official website.
6 Notification of Changes
The CAB must inform iQASB without delay of any significant changes affecting its legal, commercial, or organizational status, key personnel, main policies, or resources that may impact its ability to fulfill the requirements for accreditation.
